TIGGI HAWKE – DOPAMINE REMIX COMPETITION – PRIVACY NOTICE

I Tiggi Hawke (“me”, “my” and “I”) am committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Notice tells you why I need to collect personal information about you, what I will do with it, and how I will look after it. It also tells you about your legal rights in relation to your personal data. If you have any questions about this Privacy Notice, please contact me. Contact details are provided below.

  1. HOW YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS COLLECTED

Information you provide: When providing entry to the ‘Dopamine Remix Competition’ (the “Competition”) I may collect your data from the information you provide me. This includes your:

  • first name;

  • surname;

  • email address;

  • postal address;

  • phone number; and

  • social media details (i.e. usernames and profile pictures),

this is known as your “Personal Data”.

I will not ask you for special categories of information (for example criminal convictions, health, and religion). But for reference, this is known as your “Sensitive Personal Data”.

  1. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

I will process your Personal Data for the purposes of managing and administering the Competition, including notifying you if you are a winner of the Competition. I will do this by emailing you if you have won. I reserve the right to tag you in a social media post on ‘Tiggi Hawke’ social media channels.

  1. LEGAL BASIS FOR COLLECTING AND USING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

I will only use your Personal Data if I have valid reasons for doing so. These reasons are known as my “legal basis for processing”. In certain circumstances I may ask for your consent to process your Personal Data. At other times I may be required to process your Personal Data to enable me to fulfil our part of the contract I have with you. There are circumstances where I have a legitimate interest to process your Personal Data, for example to provide you with a service which you have requested.

In this instance, I will use a range of legal bases to process your Personal Data, including:

  1. necessary for the performance of a contract – the processing is necessary for the purpose of managing and administering the Competition.

  2. legitimate interests – the processing is necessary to allow me to administer the Competition, to ensure that the Competition is run fairly and to contact the Competition winners.

  3. public task – the processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest.

  1. WHO I SHARE YOUR DATA WITH

If you win the Competition and/or if I decide to release your Remixed Master, I may share your Personal Data with third parties such as digital service providers and collection societies (for the purposes of properly crediting your role in the Remixed Master. In addition, I may tag your social media handles on social media platforms to announce you as the winner of the Competition.

  1. DATA PROCESSING OUTSIDE THE UK

If I am required to transfer your data outside of the UK, I will always take steps to ensure that your Personal Data is protected and that those transfers comply with applicable privacy laws.

  1. HOW LONG YOUR INFORMATION WILL BE KEPT

I will keep your Personal Data for as long as is necessary for the purpose of administering the Competition.

  1. SECURITY

I place great importance on the security of the Personal Data that I hold, including the use of physical, technological and organisational measures to ensure your Personal Data is protected from unauthorised access and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, alteration, disclosure, destruction and damage, but I accept no liability if communications are intercepted by third parties or incorrectly delivered or not delivered.

This Privacy Notice applies only to the Personal Data that I collect and am not responsible for Personal Data that third parties may collect, store and use through other websites.

  1. YOUR RIGHTS

The Data Protection Act 2018 provides you with a number of legal rights in relation to your Personal Data, including the right:

  1. to ask me for copies of your Personal Data;

  2. to ask me to rectify information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask me to complete information you think is incomplete;

  3. to ask me to erase your Personal Data in certain circumstances;

  4. to ask me to restrict the processing of your Personal Data in certain circumstances;

  5. to object to processing your Personal Data; and

  6. to ask that I transfer the Personal Data you gave me from one organisation to another, or give it to you.

If you wish to exercise any of the rights set out above, or require further information about any of the rights, please contact me.

Where I need to collect your Personal Data, whether for the purposes of providing a service you have requested or under the terms of a contract I have with you, and you fail to provide that information when requested, I may not be able to provide the service or perform the contract. I may, therefore, have to cancel the contract or the service I provide to you but I will notify you if this is the case at the time.

There may also be times where we cannot stop using your Personal Data when you ask us to, but we will tell you about this if you make a request.
